A Lesson in Versatility.

Not more than 2 days ago I had to have a serious talk with my closet and shoe collection about what we (me and my wardrobe are a team) are going to wear this summer. In true Portland fashion, my friends, family and I try to squeeze as much fun, sun, and memory-making into the 2 sunny months we get. As such, “we” (my clothes, shoes, and I) know that “we” are going to have to find with versatile pieces that can make the rounds to any combo of barbeques, summer parties, and dog parks (and, like, work and stuff too.)
It would just so happen then that we (the other we) just received a shipment of these sweet Jeffrey Campbells called “Zuma.” These bad boys meet the aforementioned requirements, plus they’re light colored, which is perfect for the warmer months, and they won’t break the bank.
Here’s how I would wear them during the day:

Shorts, a loose blouse, some big ol’ Minoux earrings, my beloved Hobo “Full Swing” bag, and a girly straw fedora (this one is by Delux.)

And for an occasion that required a bit more finesse, like a day date to the park or an outdoor cocktail party, I would wear ‘em like this:

A lightweight, nude-colored dress, a delicate gold necklace (this wishbone one is by Destiny Ray,) and a bright-colored clutch (“Lauren” By Hobo.) I like to keep it simple, because who wants to spend the handful of sunny days we get fussin’ around with armfuls of jangle and huge purses? Not this girl!
